Flint Barn Restoration

Alfriston, East Sussex

Renovation and extension of historic flint barn ruin on the Rathfinny Estate.

Working from local architect Anthony Sherwin’s initial concept, Designcubed developed the detailed information, specification and led the design team on-site. The project was completed in August 2014 in time for the first harvest.

The Flint Barn will be used as accommodation for Rathfinny Winery’s seasonal workers during the harvest and is open for walkers and groups at other times.
