Positions Available : Part II / Part III / Architects
We currently have opportunities for Part II, Part III and Qualified Architects to join our growing studio overlooking the Thames near Canning Town, London.
We are looking for talented individuals to play a key role within our expanding team. The applicant should be driven, ambitious and creative with a keen eye for detail. We require someone with a strong work ethic with the ability to work on your own initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a strong architectural team and to help define the future success of our practice.
For qualified architects the role will involve designing and delivering multiple new and existing projects at any one time. Architectural Assistants will be required to support the lead Architect whist being given the opportunity to develop their own design ideas. This will include working across various project stages all the way from Strategic Definition through to Completion / Handover and will include design development, client presentations, co-ordination of designs with consultants and contractors, written schedules of work and specifications.
Required Skills / Experience
- Working knowledge of Revit is essential for the position.
- A good knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and In-Design are desirable.
- A minimum of 2 years working within a UK Practice.
- Healthcare experience is desirable.
- Excellent Design, Communication and Presentation Skills.
- Excellent English language skills in both spoken and written form.
- Knowledge and experience of contract administration.
- Working knowledge of UK building regulations and technical standards.
Since our founding in 2011, we have delivered a wide range of exciting projects including: extensions to and remodelling of private homes; residential developments; care facilities; healthcare; schools and colleges; facilities for vineyards (including wineries); public and commercial buildings; and an animal husbandry centre with an integrated tropical biome!
We take a pragmatic approach to design: first and foremost it must work, it should be appropriate, bring joy and comfort, and be affordable yet of high quality. We have no set solutions, design is a process of discovery which we explore alongside our clients and we understand that an emphasis on the clear communication of ideas is a fundamental key to success.
